Etioallocholane and etiocholane are 5a-Androstane and 5b-Androstane, respectively. They can be synthesized directly from androsterone, I believe. Androsterone is a weak androgen and a pheromone. Madol is a methylated androgen, but one with distinct pheromone-like properties.

It is EXACTLY the 'clear'... which makes you wonder how stupid these people (ALRI/ALR namely) were to release it when the whole BALCO thing was hot in the media.

As for Stay Puft's comments, he is absolutely correct. PP results in more strength, size, and has far fewer side effects in terms of mood, gynecomastia, and libido than superdrol does. Some argue that SD increases strength more, but I did not experience that and don't think there's any widespread anecdotal evidence for that. SD also increases hardness/vascularity better than ergomax according to mass anecdote.

for me SD worked twice as well.

Madol was another steroid given to BALCO and which was given to some/most? athletes in addition to THG and the test/epi-test cream. You're right that THG is 'the clear', I'm not sure why I said that above...

As for Madol's subjective effects... it's good for 10-15lbs of weight in the first two weeks of use at 20-30mg ED, much like other oral steroids, along with huge increases in strength. libido and mood do not suffer too much. I would guess that this is somewhat on par with dianabol (disclaimer: I've never used d-bol, this is just based on a comparison of subjective results of other people).
